Rained out.

Short Take:  too wet.

It kept raining at Comiskey Park so the game was called before the first pitch.  The Sox and Tigers will make this game up as part of a twi-night doubleheader September 4 starting at 4:05 pm.  This will cost the Sox one of their home dates.  

Great--like Ken Williams and Jerry Reinsdorf needed another excuse for dismantling this team.

Some words of inspiration which pretty much sum of the situation for Sox Fans waiting for this game to start...
