In honor of actor Andy Garcia and his (unintentionally) hilarious reaction to Sofia (Mary Corleone) Coppola's death scene in "The Godfather, Part III."

Yesterday's Tribune Headlines:
In the wake of the White Sox' potential release of Frank Thomas and the
impartial headline "Little Hurt in This Goodbye" followed by Morrissey, I
got to once again thinking about what life at the Trib might have been like
if they had owned the Cubs at the end of the 1950 season. I suspect we would've seen something like this:
Little Ache or Pain in This Goodbye
Sox set to release perennial griper Appling

hitter. Appling had just been a participant in baseball
history and all he could think about was himself, as usual.
Cub notes: Terwilliger, Smalley point way to brilliant future

"Only a White Sox fan would do such a thing. Obviously they
are embarrassed to root for a team that fixed the World
Series, or at least they should be, and they want the rest
of the world to forget that it happened. We have many leads
