White Sox 78-74, 5th, GB 17.5

White Sox 78-76, 4th, 28 GB

The White Sox jumped out of the starting gate in 1912, going 23-6 in the first few weeks of play. The hitting improved this year, indicated by the team BA of .269 and 19 home runs. "Ping" Bodie and Shano Collins led the way with a team record 4.
