Games and Moments
July 31, 1967
vs. Cleveland Indians
at Municipal Stadium, Cleveland

The White Sox go into this contest in 1st place, two games up on the competition.
Rocky Colavito, acquired in a trade from the very same Indians two days earlier, is the star of this game. The Sox and Indians are tied at 2 going into the 10th inning when Wayne Causey singles and Tom McCraw grounds into a fielder's choice. Colavito steps up to the plate and touches ex-teammate...

Games and Moments
July 25, 1967
vs. Cleveland Indians (double header)
at White Sox Park

The White Sox of 1967 might not have been an offensive juggernaut (.225 average, 89 HRs as a team) but they weren't without their moments, like this beautiful July Sunday double header vs. the Indians at White Sox Park. They would sweep the Indians in dramatic fashion, with a home run in their final at-bat of both games.

Games and Moments:
June 15, 1967 vs. Boston Red Sox
at Fenway Park

Ouch. This one hurts. The 1st place White Sox meet the 3rd place Red Sox in the last of a three game series having split the first two games.

Bruce Howard goes for the Sox and pitches 7 scoreless innings and Hoyt Wilhelm follows it up with two. In true 1967 Sox fashion, they are unable to score as John Waslewski of Boston throws a nine inning shutout with nothing to show for it.

Games and Moments:
May 24, 1967 vs. Minnesota Twins
at Metropolitan Stadium

Sox 1st baseman Tommie McCraw is the hitting star of this Wednesday matinee. He hits three home runs and gets a franchise record-tying 8 RBI, becoming the first Sox player since Gus Zernial in 1950 to score a home run hat trick. Two of the homers are off starter and loser Dean Chance. The 3rd comes in the 9th off Jim Kaat.

Starting pitcher Gary Peters allows one run and strikes out 9....

Games and Moments:
April 30, 1967
vs. Cleveland Indians (2nd game)
at White Sox Park

The 8-7 White Sox take on the Indians in the second game of a Sunday doubleheader and beat Cleveland, 4-2. Sox get two RBIs from Tommie Agee on a single and sacrifice fly; Al Weis and Walt Williams chip in an RBI apiece. Buford and Agee also swipe bases in the game.
Jim O'Toole starts the game but exits after 1.1 innings when he falls behind 2-0. Reliever Hoyt Wilhelm pitches...
