Well, considering that JR has enjoyed his biggest successes during this era when he is employing mostly former Sox players for baseball operations, I'm guessing that he sees no problem with continuing that approach. (For the record, while I'm glad to see some former Sox players among management, I don't think that should be a major factor in hiring someone.)
