I'm pretty upset that I can't get to Opening Day this year--I've never been, and I thought having a real job I'd be able to afford it and take off for it...but it's the first day after our spring break. We're not allowed to take personal days attached to holidays. I'm not taking it because it's attached to spring break, I'm taking it because it's Opening ****ing Day!

Bought my first batch of games last night though regardless--five of them. I went heavy on the cheap Sundays especially--first Sunday of the season, then the Konerko bobblehead vs the Los Angeles Mike Trouts of Anaheim, the Sunday game against the Uptons in July, Rangers in August, and lastly, Fan Appreciation Day. Definitely plan on another 5-7 games as well.

Color me excited.
