When Bo got up to get a bat from the rack (he was a pinch hitter for this at bat), we all stood and started cheering. When he came out of the dugout to go to the Warm Up Circle, the rest of the Comiskey saw what the commotion was about. On the first pitch, Bo swung for the Dan Ryan and missed. We were telling him to "take it easy, you got a new hip." On the next pitch, Bo did the same thing and connected. The ball was coming straight at us. At a certain point, we could see the rotation of the laces and that's when we knew it was GONE.
A few minutes later, a couple of suits showed up and everyone pointed to the seat area where the ball landed. They found the guy with the ball and escorted him to meet Bo.
Very exciting moment indeed.
