Some of the folks on that list amaze me:
1. Tom Seaver averaged 15 wins and an ERA of under four in his two full seasons. In 85' his ERA was 3.17. He averaged 237 innings pitched.
If that's 'over the hill' I'll take four of those guys if you please.
2. Danny Tartabull in his one year hit 27 homer runs and drove in 101 RBI's. Again I'd take that thank you.
Next someone will be saying Steve Kemp was over the hill...
I didnt list Seaver because he was the Sox best pitcher for two years.
I honestly forgot that Tartabull had such a good year in 96. What happened to him? He was out of baseball the very next year.
