That statement is 100 percent accurate regardless of whether Rios went 6-for-6 or 0-for-6 in his most recent game. Scouts know what he is. They aren't going to suddenly believe Rios is a .320 hitter based upon what he did last night, nor are they suddenly going to believe he sucks if he has a week where he goes 3-for-24.
Well I'll just say I'd prefer him to be hitting well when we're trying to trade him, than not hitting well when we're trying to trade him.
