I think he has a promising future with the Sox, but I also think those fans who are practically penciling him in as part of our pitching rotation at the start of next year might be jumping the gun a bit.
And no one seems to care that he will be an apparent September starter despite having pitched 50 innings more than he has ever pitched as a professional.
It doesn't bother me. He needs experience and he's building on what appears to have been a breakthrough season as a minor leaguer.
