PS: Little Nell I’m surprised Billy Pierce or Whitey Ford weren’t on your list.
Billy and Whitey came close but no cigar. Forgot where I read the article but Ford was a bit of cheat, he would scruff up the ball with his belt buckle, saw him pitch many times on TV and a few in person and he must have been very discreet in doing it. Jim Palmer, Early Wynn, Jim Bunning and Robin Roberts were a few others that also came close in making my list.
