I think this guarantees AJ close to $10 million a season from either NYY, LAD, or TEX.

Thoughts?

Yankees saw martin as worth $6M a yr, maybe a tick more. cerveli is a v. good backup. they need a starting C but have time.

martin decided to take $17M for 2 from pirates over their $21M for 3 offer. texas was at about 13M for 2.
