I bet the Sox will consider a lot of deals with Floyd with a number of teams. I wonder if such a deal won't come until later in the offseason, however, when the market for SPs settles a bit.

As for Greinke, he seems like a good fit in Dodger Stadium behind Kershaw.

Dodgers could take the Highest payroll title away from the yankees, who have had it since 98, IIRC. Those guys just can't get rid of that TV cash fast enough.

What's interesting to me is that the story said that the deal with Fox is far from done, they just have an exclusive negotiating window that will soon end. The Dodgers could end with more than that.

Even if that happens, I doubt the Sox will have the revenue to look like the Dodgers.

Time Warner cable in SoCal is the one really pushing for the Dodgers rights to go along with the Lakers property which they already have.

The final winning bid will be astronomical in the range of 250 million per season to the franchise and that's before even one ticket has been sold.

The rich get righer because they know how the game is played.

I think the Sox rights come open in 2016....and I agree they might get an increase but nothing like, not even close to what the Rangers, Angels, Dodgers are getting and what the Yankees / Red Sox will get when they hit the market.
