RA Dickey to the Blue Jays

Mets agreed to send RA Dickey and Josh Thole to the Blue Jays in exchange for Travis d'Naurd, John Buck and a minor league pitcher. The Blue Jays do have a 72 hour window to try and extend Dickey.

Yes. Exactly why many would like to see Chris Sale develop more offspeed weapons. With his sidearm style the knuckle-curve would be a good and devastating pitch. Would be cool if could get some consult with retired Burt Hooten who had like a 30 win season with that pitch. Thats what RA Dickey really signifies for the White Sox.

I'm going to think that you exaggerated a bit there. Hooton certainly was a solid SP for the Dodgers from 1975-81. Another guy who blossomed when he left the Cubs, and yes that knuckle curve was at times pretty unhittable.

The most wins Hooten ever had in a season was 19.
