Don't know if this is good or bad, but Hardball Talk had some interesting news on how Danks' rehab is going: http://hardballtalk.nbcsports.com/20...r-feels-great/

Saw something recently on this on Comcast Sports Chicago. Danks said he feels fine and has been throwing off a flat surface. In the next few weeks he thinks he'll get back on the mound.

Interesting video. John thinks he was a waste of money last season and really hurt the team. Nice to see him admit the club really could have used him. Really makes you wonder how we could have finished the year had he been healthy. Our rotation couldn't have been shot at a worse time.

Uh, the first sentence of the link in the OP says he's been throwing off a mound for 2 weeks now

So missing the beginning of the season seems like a strong possibility for him...I'm okay with that. The Sox had better make sure he's completely ready to go when he comes back. In the meantime our rotation becomes what?
Sale Peavy Floyd Quintana ?? Santiago, maybe? Guess it makes some sense why we've been hesitant to trade Floyd. He's gonna be big for us to start the year. |
