Imagine how many wins Sale and Quintana would have this season if they pitched for Detroit or Boston or Texas or Tampa or Baltimore . . .

Quintana has 2 games where he was lined up for the win, but lost it once he left the game; Sale only has 1.

Probably more telling is that JQ has 2 losses in quality starts while Sale has 7(!).

Been enjoying the repeated shots Hawk and Stone have been taking at individual players and the team.

That is not limited to the tv booth either. Heard DJ in the car over the weekend basically call out DeAza as the stupidest player on the team for the repeated bad throws and missing the cutoff man.

My vote for stupidest (perhaps "least baseball savvy") goes to Alexei Ramirez.

Thanks for the knowledge. How many no decisions do they have in quality starts? I bet Quintana leads the free world in that stat. More often than not it's been a lack of run support -- not the bullpen -- that has let them down.

JQ has 16 NDs, the next closest pitcher has 12. That's bonkers. Poor kid.

-At least we're all used to them being terrible in September.
--Bad teams find ways to lose games.
---At least Alexei's goof at third ended up not mattering.
