That might be the throw of all-time.
That's unbelievable For those of you that prefer a viedo: http://m.mlb.com/video/topic/6479266...akmlb_anamlb_1 For reference, it is 330 feet to the LF corner at Angels Stadium, so this throw traveled basically the distance of a full football field plus a good chunk of an end zone.

The GIF doesn't show him misplaying the ball and punching it into the corner with his glove.
The throw is amazing, sure, but he shouldn't have had to make it in the first place. |

My vote for best confirmed throw would be Bo Jackson nailing Harold Reynolds at home in Seattle back in the 1980s.

I definitely did not take enough calculus and physics in high school to understand that Cespedes throw. Great play, even if it was only necessary due to his own error and even if Willie Mays and Ichiro have had better ones.

Without question, Ichiro's throw from right field to 3rd base was the best that i've seen .. that ball seemed to defy gravity, as i kept waiting for it to bounce, but it never did .. Bo Jackson's famous throw is definitely second in my book..

To me, this is one of the best throws ever. Its so subjective, it just joins the group. Its hard to forget about the 2 throws Ankiel had to 3rd in Coors Field!
