Why isn't Fukudome leading off?

Hey...

I do agree, Beckham leading off seems an odd idea, but let's see how it works out. Fukudome's swinging the bat well, so why not try him in the middle of the order.

Gomez is a righty. Interesting lineup. Not sure about Fukudome batting behind Paulie. Not a whole lot of protection there. Rios in the 2 hole is an interesting idea though. A better option than Morel in my opinion.
