Memorial Day,2012.
Tribe 27-21 Sox 27-22 .5 Tigers 23-25 4.0 KC 20-29 7.5 Twins 16-33 11.5 First benchmark date on the long season. Sox hanging very tough, even with the Tribe 9 of 11 against everyone but the Sox the last 2 weeks. Thankfully, 0-3 vs the Sox. Sox do not see the Tribe until the last ten days of the season now, which team will be alive? Tigers treading water....still the favorite. KC pesky, but cannot beat the Tribe. Twins flat stink but also give Sox fits. Sox play KC and the Twins a bunch over the next 4 months. They must get a handle on these two nemisis. The Tribe are for real, imo. Good hitting team. Good back end of bullpen, altho Chris Perez is not modeling his on mound behavior after Valverde of the Tigers from last year...hope it catches up to the prick,Perez soon. He is going to have a ton of enemies in his division by August...add KC to the list after todays antics. Sox already are out for him with Alex leading the pack. I suspect the Tigers and Twins will join the club soon. |

KC isn't bad. I think the'll win 75-82 games. That 12 game losing streak put them in a hole, but over .500 otherwise.
You just can't lose to the Twins and expect to win this division. You just can't. It's got to be a 15-3 sort of pounding of them. |

I believe the Tigers have the league's worst record since they jumped out to their 9-3 start.

But though FRATER laughed openly, he wept secretly; and really he neither laughed nor wept. Nor did he mean what he said. |
