I will never feel nostalgia for those. It doesn't help that the team was miserably bad almost the entire time they wore them.
I have always liked those uniforms too. While I was a bit older than 10 in 1983, that year was a landmark year in my life, and the 1983 team was the first Sox team that actually won SOMETHING in my lifetime to date. I would welcome a Sunday home games return of the 1983 uniforms.

So I saw his first Comiskey HR and his first NEW Comiskey HR at the first night game, I believe April 17, 1990.

The first night game at the NEW Comiskey Park was on April 22, 1991...they beat the O's 8-7.

I was there that night and and caught a foul ball off the bat of Fisk and fans were offering 20 to 25 bucks for the ball because it had the Inaugural Year logo on it. Almost 22 years later it still sits in a special case in my Man Cave.

What if they wore the 83 style but with the current silver and black colors? They would sell a boatload of those cuz most fans have the blue and red 83 jersey already
