Congrats to Gordon. Hopefully wedded bliss will translate into more scoring on the field, too.

Default The Keys To Happiness

I've always said a man needs two things in life to be happy. He must be in love with his work and he must be in love with his wife. If he has those two things, he will be happy. If he doesn't have those two things, he won't be happy. And in case you're wondering, I've never met anybody who has ever agreed with me on this subject. Anyways, congrats to Gordon!

That's cool!

Scott Fletcher, 2nd baseman
Gordon Beckham, 2nd baseman

Hopefully Gordon gets beyond 2nd base...after he's married.

Seriously. I have been somewhere in between indifference and outright hatred of each of my jobs.

Too weird, check this out...

Beckham's career batting average with the Sox: .245
http://www.baseball-reference.com/pl...eckhgo01.shtml

Fletcher's career batting avg (with the Sox (6 yrs)): .244
(albeit he hit a little bit better that including his time with Texas).

Gordon might have out kicked the coverage on this one.
