Default Carl Pavano should have paid some neighbor kid $10 to shovel his walk

Fell down shoveling snow at his home in Vermont. Ruptured his spleen. Out 6-8 weeks.

When Pavano was with the Yankees, his teammates started referring to the disabled list as the "15-day Pavano" because he was injured so often. Be that as it may, it's unfortunate that he suffered such a severe injury while shoveling snow.

Yeesh, a ruptured spleen is serious. Six-eight weeks sounds like the minimum.

Over/under on number of "fall down the stairs" injuries? Not as bad as hurting your back sneezing.
