Default Parking FYI

If anybody is planning on street parking for opening day, or even the beginning of the season, 32nd street is torn up from like Union to Canal, and Normal is toast between 32nd and 33rd. I am guessing that road work will NOT be completed by next Monday. So, even if you plan on parking in a lot.......coming thru the hood might be a tad messy on opening day. Just an fyi

Thanks for the heads-up. I park in the lots (typically Lot G) and usually take 35th in all the way from California Ave. I should probably be okay?

There was some road work on 35th near Damen over the winter, but the street was open to traffic the whole time. You shouldn't have any trouble taking 35th all the way to the park

I take 35th to California every day on the way home from work. There's been some construction between Damen and Archer and also on the bridge over the river just after Racine.

Traffic has been slow in some spots, but otherwise, it's been fine.

I won't be parking on the streets but I hear the lots usually fill for the Opening Day. What time would you recommend getting there to tailgate?

According to some people this is also going on inside Comiskey, they tell me the Sox are rebuilding.
