What were we saying while celebrating? "We're in the commercial!" We thought it would be a lock for a Nike commercial.
You had me scared for a second there.

I don't know. Just seems like a really silly problem to me.

My initial response when seeing this thread this morning was "Wow. That's nice." I was pretty shocked that it could mushroom to two pages and have actual sides of a debate to it when I checked back in at lunch.

We're bored until the Sox season starts, spring training notwithstanding.

When he came out of the dugout to go to the Warm Up Circle, the rest of the Comiskey saw what the commotion was about. On the first pitch, Bo swung for the Dan Ryan and missed. We were telling him to "take it easy, you got a new hip." On the next pitch, Bo did the same thing and connected. The ball was coming straight at us. At a certain point, we could see the rotation of the laces and that's when we knew it was GONE.

A few minutes later, a couple of suits showed up and everyone pointed to the seat area where the ball landed. They found the guy with the ball and escorted him to meet Bo.

Very exciting moment indeed.

I don't know, but it would be better if the Sox would've kept (insert random former player here- Rowand, Swisher, Everett, etc)!

Cafe Rowand has mediocre pizza, but I hear the grinders are good.

Rowand is no longer with the team? When did this happen? Did we get 56 MLB-ready players in return for him to make it an even trade?

Until today I never realized there was criteria for throwing out the first pitch on Opening Day.
