Default Cashman said he will discuss Jeter's MRI later this afternoon.

Jeter: "They MRI everything around here."

EDIT:

Bob Nightengale ‏@BNightengale 2m

Jeter has Grade 1 quad strain, and is out through the All-Star break. #Yankees
Cashman says they are hoping Jeter can avoid the DL

Hmmm, I thought he'd at least make it 2 games!

Jeter back on the DL.
The Yankees also signed infielder Brent Lillibridge from Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre.

He needs to put in work as Assistant to the Travelling Secretary first.

Yankees place Derek Jeter on the DL again today, ending his 2013 season.

http://espn.go.com/new-york/mlb/stor...led-list-again

Going to be interesting to watch this off-season take shape. Jeter has a player option for 2014 but it's a drastic pay cut, however, at $8 million guaranteed, it's EASILY more than anything he could fetch on the open market.
