6) AGAIN, all coming with two outs
7) SWEEPING the Yankees

The only downer, once again seeing Axlerod serve up a tater to the first batter he faces.

Now that was a sweep.. Nothing finer than bitch slappin those Pinstripers from the Bronx.. Looks like we are keeping up with this record breaking year. 100 years between consecutive sweeps.. Bout damn time I say.. Have a nice life Mariano.. No fireworks for you last night.. Just a can of Oh ****..

Thought the boys were gonna sleep walk thru this one after they went down early.... fooled the piss out of me. Of course Gas Can Axelrod had to give us this seasons never ending TUMS moment..

Yes, this was sweet.. Badly needed on this years cruise of the Titanic..

Ax has outlived his usefulness. He won't be here in 2014. Nate Jones has it figured out and hit 100+ last night. Might be good to shop Reed after the season.

Like that Baker fellow, Ax's nickname should be Home Run Axelrod.

Yep, I caught that while watching the highlights and did a double take. The way things have gone for the Sox this year, he's lucky he didn't choke on it, pass out, and get tagged out 2 steps from home to lose the game!

Axelrod doesn't even go to arbitration until after the 2015 season, so he will likely be in the organization somewhere. Yeah, asking him to start every 5th day is probably a bit over his head, but find me teams that only use 6 or 7 different starting pitchers over the course of a year. Extremely rare. Guys like Axelrod, cheap pitchers who are capable of eating innings on short notice, are valuable organizational depth.

Nah. No need to shop relief pitchers who are young and cost-controlled. I'd hold on to both Jones and Reed unless a team makes an offer the Sox can't refuse.
