Quintana has 2 games where he was lined up for the win, but lost it once he left the game; Sale only has 1.

Probably more telling is that JQ has 2 losses in quality starts while Sale has 7(!).

Thanks for the knowledge. How many no decisions do they have in quality starts? I bet Quintana leads the free world in that stat. More often than not it's been a lack of run support -- not the bullpen -- that has let them down.

JQ has 16 NDs, the next closest pitcher has 12. That's bonkers. Poor kid.

lack of offense fails to capitalize
bad baserunning
bad defense
bad bullpen

but, hey! the starting pitching is great!

Hawk kept saying tonite between all the negativity that next year will be a much different team...You'd have to replace 80% of what is to make the Sox competitve in 14" The false optimism is getting real annoying, unless he knows something we all don't..
