Default Season Ticket Holder Single-Game Ticket Presale?

Does anyone know if this is something the Sox do? My dad has a 27-game plan, but I don't usually buy tickets as soon as they go on sale. Can he expect a code for a presale in case we wanted to buy some extra Opening Day tickets?

Yes. According to my friend's season ticket rep, whom she spoke with at SoxFest, the usual presale will occur, but not until March. No reason was given for this, but I find it odd that tickets for the season will go on sale the same month Opening Day will take place. Stay tuned....

The games showed up on Ticketmaster today, but with no on sale date mentioned. I feel like in the past tickets usually go on sale in late January.

They have. Last year, my boyfriend got the presale code for his 27-game plan the last weekend in January and bought our Opening Day tickets the Monday after SoxFest.

The way this winter is shaping up, I expect Opening Day to occur sometime around Cinco de Mayo.

Has anyone received any seat relocation details yet? Also find it odd that the STH presale has not occurred yet. It seems like in the past few years that relocations were out in mid January, and that the presale was in late January / early February.

Yeah, typically they go on sale end of January/beginning of February. I'm not too concerned, though.

I've also got two games' worth of free ticket vouchers for April so I'm all set.

Though I'm bummed that they moved the second game of the season (Wednesday the 2nd) to a night game. Second year in a row the opening series has all been day games. This time they go on the road immediately, so I won't be able to go until the second homestand. I'll use one of my free pairs of tickets for Minoso statue giveaway day at the end of the month, and for the other one I'll just wait to see if Sale is pitching a day that works for me.

Yes. I received an e-mail on seat relocation yesterday. My "appointment time" for relocation is today at 11. Not much advance notice, but I'm not interested in relocating anyway.

I got two calls. They moved me twice in two weeks to better seats.

Also, my rep just said some date in the week of Feb. 24th for presale.

Thanks for the update. Just looked in my account and it said that my relocation period is tomorrow at 11. I miss Natalie as my rep, just got put with Thomas last year, and he has not emailed me anything. Also did not email me about Grinder Bash last year which upset me.

I had my appt at 10 am and didn't see anything better but I was already moved this offseason from sec 123 to sec 127 - same seats four sections over. I have had the sec 123 seats since 2003 and every year I have asked to better my location without luck.

This year my rep called me, I'm very happy with sec 127.

As I scanned the box seats there are a lot of available seats in good sections especially if you only want a pair.

Renewals must have been awful.

They are pushing for the season package sales. Some guy might buy a 7 game or 14 game to get tickets now. At least that is my thinking on this decision.

Thanks for the update.

For point of reference, STH presales the past few years were:
- 1/21/13
- 1/31/12
- 2/7/11
- 2/8/10
- 2/9/09

So either way, week of the 24th is later than usual.

Right?! I'm thoroughly convinced that there will be snow piles abound when we head to the ballpark on March 31.
