Nate Jones had good pen session, he said. Should pitch in game Saturday.

Matt Lindstrom reaggravated his oblique earlier this week and will take a few days off. Still doesn't think it's serious yet. #WhiteSox

Lindstrom felt it on follow thru yesterday. "Not fun, feels like somebody shoving a knife in there."

So, the sock patch is back. Did I miss an announcement or something?

Watched the Brewers/Sox game last night (recorded)- impressed by some solid fundamentals- bunt single, sac bunt, stolen bases/advancing, Gillaspie's defense, hitting to the right side- L. Garcia, Micah Johnson, Semian, etc.

De Aza looked very good- hopefully he is creating some trade value-

On the other hand Dunn looked like complete crap-

Just one game- but (along with Ventura's quotes in the press)- I think Ventura and his staff are taking the intensity and accountability up a notch this spring- and it's nice to see some prospects executing well.

I've seen parts of a couple of games so far this spring. The one player that really stands out to me is Adam Eaton. He seems to have a good eye, knows how to make stuff happen at the plate and on the basepaths, and I like his hustle.

Sale looked great yesterday in the first few innings that I saw (have to watch the rest of the game later). Gillaspie has pulled off several stellar plays at 3rd so far this spring. Haven't yet got to see Davidson much.

Just a hunch but I think Gillaspie is going to take a big step forward this year and make the 3rd base job battle interesting. I'm also going to predict that Davidson starts the year in the minors for more seasoning (and to push arbitration back one year) Maybe if we can find a taker for Dunn by mid year we could replace him with Davidson and either Gillaspie and / or Davidson can also get some at bats at 1B / DH.

Gillaspie is also out of options, so there's another reason to have Davidson start in Birmingham or Charlotte.

I agree on Conner Gillaspie. I think last year was a feel-out year for him, and this year his BA will rise to around .280

It would be huge if he can become at least the everyday 3rd basemen vs rightys...that would be a lot of games.

Let Davidson grow down in the minors for at least half a year.

Strong outing for Danks today against the Rangers. We need a strong year from Johnny D.!
