He's still better than a couple of guys the Sox trotted out there last year.

How sad is that?

Good for him, if he can do it let him play.

George Blanda was still kicking a football when he was older than that.

It would be stupid to tie up all that money in just 3 players. Plus, we need to see what we have in Reynaldo Lopez and Carlos Rodon, and Gray would block those guys.

Not to mention, Fulmer would probably blossom in Colorado. His penchant for walking people and then giving up deep flies is a good fit for their park, and would not be affected by the loss of Story and Arenado on defense.

Turn those grand slams into base clearing doubles. It would bother me a lot if he blossomed anywhere.

There’s no chance he blossoms anywhere, least of all Colorado.

I understand the sentiment on Fulmer, but I’m trying to be more positive about everything so he falls under that vast blanket. RPs turn the corner every year and he only has one season as a full-time RP where he was “effectively wild” for spurts and fanned a bunch of guys in Charlotte and had regular blow-up games with both teams.

You’re probably right, though. His meltdowns are as off-putting as they are often.

IF Colon can come back this year, he would be one of the few players to have played in four decades. He will also be the last Expo and the last player to have played in the 20th century still active in baseball.

Castellanos to the Reds for 4 years, $64 million. He also has an opt out after one season, so he could be back on the market next year.

Now Cincy is considering trading Senzel? If they could get Lindor somehow they're gonna be a force in the NL Central.

Pirates trade Marte to the D-Backs for 2 prospects.

Pirates opening day payroll now is just over $43 million.

I think the dbacks are still the fourth most talented team in their division with the Giants rebuilding.

Pittsburgh's 41-year pennant drought (1979) isn't going to end any time soon.

Cub fans get their wish and will still get to see Nick Castellanos at The Urinal.

Wearing a Reds' uniform.
