I love this move- really like Omar staying with the organization, like him going to a more advanced level, like the idea of the prospects from WS "moving up" along with him- I'm OK with Ricky- but I think this guy is the real deal as a manager, and think he would be a great long term manager of the White Sox.

A highly respected major league veteran + a few years of minor league managing experience + several years with the prospects that will be a big part of our future = great fit to take over this club in 2020 or 2021.
