Does this fuel some of the animosity toward home run hitters? Are people mad that this new brand of baseball phases out little people?

Mohoney,

Do you think Renteria would manage differently with a finished product as opposed to a team with multiple pieces trying to find its way?

That's good food for thought, Renteria has only managed teams that are a little bit better than AAA and in rebuilds. He's been dealt lousy hands.

I donít. Iím going to take him at his word that he honestly believes the things he says about ďthe way baseball should be played.Ē I also donít think the episodes of pitcher roulette will ever stop.

I think once he has a bullpen that can actually get people out for an inning at a time each he'll settle down. This current bullpen has been a clownshow for most of the season and worse since Soria left though showing signs of life recently.
