Big win. Lots to be excited about.

Huge strikeout by Colome to end the 8th.

The bad news: Moncada 1-for-5, Tim Anderson 0-for-3. Moncada now below .300 for the year.

The good news: just about everything else.

Yes, great win. Nice turnaround coming off the BoSox Series. Almost to .500 seam heads.

Cordell with a nice play to keep Lindor from scoring on the bullet that went over his head. Palka likely doesnít make that throw. Abreu and Lucas had a nice play for a 3-1 putout at first earlier. How about those stops by McCann behind the plate in the 8th? Dude was picking it.

Itís going to be a really long year for you if youíre going to measure Moncada and Anderson on a per game basis. Moncada pretty much won the game for them yesterday. Oh, and he had one of two Sox RBI.

You do you, but itís hard to believe someone could find any bad news in a well-played, shutout, road win against the Tribe.

Moncada has smoked 5 balls in the last 2 games, stop relying on the box score for telling you how players are doing lately.

Great to see 2 quality starts in a row, if that keeps up we can be dangerous.

Fry was the only poor performance. The rest of our guys did very well and some were outstanding.

Yes, Anderson/Moncada didn't get the hits but remember last year and all Yoan's strikeouts. He is doing waaaay better. And both guys are growing defensively and at the plates. The arrow is pointing in the right direction.

You know what they say, give a man a HomeFish and he'll be down about the game. But teach a man to HomeFish and he can be down about the whole season despite all the visible progress!

Actually, Moncada did get a hit and drove in a run on a fantastic inside-out swing on a pitch he’d never have hit last year.

But your broader point stands.

Gio was masterful three times thru the lineup with a fastball and change and figuratively nothing else. We knew it could work out of the pen (Keith Foulke) but a starter? Surprising. Stoney was masterful too, describing it. Jace Fry was a toe away from blowing it all up. He's a lucky guy we're not calling for his butt in a sling. You and I are lucky to have watched it. The Narvaez trade is looking good, esp with McCann behind the plate and Colome closing.

Stoney and Jason are listenable now that they've cut back the clowning.

Just recalled that Johan Santana pitched wiith the same repertoire and was among the best. We got the wrong Santana.

I don't know how that's bad news. The White Sox won without Moncada and Anderson have good nights. And while Anderson has been looking much more ordinary since his home run to end the wild win against the Tigers, Moncada drove in the first run after the Sox sacrificed a leadoff double to third.

It was frustrating that Moncada struck out later in the game to fail to advance a leadoff double to third, and Cordell was left at second to end the inning. It was also frustrating that Anderson hit into the force at home with the bases loaded and one out to keep the Sox from getting a third run.

Really, the game shouldn't have been so close. When Renteria did the Indians a favor by replacing Giolito with Fry, I thought the Sox were going to lose it. But for a close play at first eventually going the White Sox way, this could have been an Indians win.

The Sox played a pretty good game tonight, beating the team that's supposed to be the best in the division for the second night in a row. I don't believe the Indians are a superior team, even if they are the better team in a matchup with the White Sox. The Sox won the last two night nights with excellent starting pitching and some timely hitting, Monday night being heavier on the timely hitting and Tuesday night being heavier on the pitching excellence with Giolito pitching shutout ball into the eighth.

Tonight's wasted scoring opportunities, though, weren't that far from costing the White Sox their best-pitched start of the season.

The Sox have played two solid games in a row, and itís been great to see! Watching two excellent pitched games was equally enjoyable!
