Not much to say about this one except Banuelos didn't have it again and neither did the hitters.
Was hoping to take 3 out of 4 in the series after winning the first 2, oh well.

Theyíve already won more games in May than I thought they would when I looked ahead at the schedule a couple weeks ago.

I thought they should have swept Cleveland after the first game, certainly after the second. Cleveland may end up winning the division, but it won't be because they are a good baseball team.

Fort he second Banuelos start, the game felt like a fight that needed to be stopped. The White Sox could have used some rain against the Red Sox.

It wasn't entirely Banuelos' fault today. The offensive pieces that were clicking in April haven't been doing well in May, for example. Still, this starting pitching is feeling very thin. About the only thing good about today's game is that the thin bullpen was mostly rested.

I'll take a split in Cleveland any day with the current team. Could have won 3/4 but last night the ending didn't go our way. Today's game was just one of the 60 you're going to lose.

Did they explain the decision to end the game without trying to wait it out? I'm looking at the Cleveland radar right now, and it seems like there's a window.

Sox play in Toronto tomorrow night...that's a short flight.

Cleveland plays in Oakland tomorrow night...that flight stinks, but at least they gain a couple of hours going west, so it's really only about a two hour flight.

Not saying the Sox would have come back, but would have been nice to have the chance.

Might have been field condition, the umps waited 2+ hours before calling it. Not sure waiting 4 is the right move, but it's the umps' call every time once the game is going.

Ah, that's probably it. I didn't realize they waited two hours.

Plus itís getaway day.

Safety may have dictated the decision as well. That play in the bottom of the 5th where Tilsonís foot skidded across the outfield grass and ripped out a huge divot could have ended much worse than it did.

Manny Banny had a couple good starts to raise my hope, now a terrible start and poor one.

You're probably right. It's good to see Tilson come away healthy from that incident.
