Wow, all the Indians got for Kluber is Delino Deshields Jr. and Emmanuel Chase.

What? Not future perennial All-Star Steele Walker?

Doesn’t Cleveland realize the DeShields, Jr. is 4 years older than Walker? At least Clase is 2 years younger than Walker.

Yeah, it’s time for Boston to recalibrate their expectations in a David Price trade.

Passan is saying Bumgarner to Arizona on a 5 year deal. No word on the money yet.

The Rangers just demonstrated how to execute a salary dump; a 6th outfielder and a relief prospect.

It's $85 million. A lot less than people thought. But maybe he took less money than elsewhere.

I'm happy this one is behind us. I'd be angry if we gave him that much money. Kudos to Hahn for not biting on the highest price low end starter out there.

What did Cleveland demonstrate in making this deal?

That they're in the down phase of their window, and are likely to rebuild. Bet Lindor is next.

So Kluber gets traded for table scraps, and Bumgarner will make less in 5 years than Price will make in 3...

That “thud” you just heard was David Price’s trade value falling through the floor.

This feels like a market correction from that Strasburg contract.

Let's hope so; although it never had much value above taking 1/2 the salary in a normal market.

There are still a lot of teams looking for pitching. If the Red Sox trade Price, they will need to fill his spot.

He wasn't going to go to the American League, and there may well have been a few AL teams were offering more.
