Go Brewers!

I'm in Kenosha- my wife and I will be going to Game 1 on friday if they make it to the series- hoping to be able to attend my 4th World Series game (2002, Game 4 @ San Francisco, 2005, Games ! & 2 @ The Cell).

Good to see Yelich contributing and Hader fully rested heading into tonights game.

Waiting for this a long time. These games would be played in 40 degrees with howling winds if someone didn't build an appropriate stadium. Now we'll see a fair test of baseball skills. Go Brewers!

Agree 100%. Hurts every time he gets a hit or makes a great defensive play. Sigh...

I still haven't seen anything other than rumors or whispers around here that the Sox were given a choice between Moncada and Benintendi. Every major source that's actually out there has Dombrowski saying pretty strongly that Benintendi was never really an option.

Yeah, IMO no point in the continued hand-wringing over trade options that are noting more than internet fan rumors....and, as far as I know, we haven't closed the books yet on what Kopech and Moncada might do for us.....at least some of us fans haven't written these guys off yet.

I'm more miffed that the Sox were ready to draft Benintendi in their sights for the 2015 draft but he fell to the Red Sox one pick ahead of us because they lost 2 more games than us in 2014. That's all hindsight, of course, but THAT'S where I feel we missed our best chance to get him.

Which is more authoritative, speculation or rumors?

Brewers are toast. Even if by some miracle they come back tonight and make it to the Series their bullpen is shot.

Don't care for either the Red Sox or the Dodgers; the only good thing that will come out of this Series is my free taco.

Fiance is a Dodgers fan and I picked Boston over Dodgers in the preseason prediction contest so I'm not crying either...

Last time the Dodgers played the Red Sox in a World Series, The Bosox' best pitcher was some guy named George Herman Ruth.

And they weren't even the Dodgers yet. Wouldn't be called the Dodgers for another 16 years. Was that franchise's first World Series, and they wouldn't win one for another 39 years, when they finally beat the Yankees in 1955 (lost their first 7 World Series appearances, and are still only 6-13 as a franchise in the Series).

102 years for a rematch...
