Default *Official* Palka Smashes Tribes' Postseason Hopes 9/26 Postgamer

Alternate thread title: "No Eloy, No Cease? No Problem!". Both of Theo's gifts to the Sox were sidelined for this one.

Hey, maybe we've got something with this Palka guy. Worth giving him a shot at starting RF next year?

Great job by the bullpen of shutting down the Indians offense after Cease was a last minute scratch due to a hamstring strain. Game of the year for Palka. Good for him even if he has no future with this team. McCann crushed one. He's still been a great acquisition even if his offense has come back down to earth in the 2nd half. Abreu with a triple. Another good offensive game for Zack Collins: 2 for 4 with a double and a walk. His double was to the warning track in deep center. Even one of his outs was a line shot right at someone.

The catch of the line drive by TA was pretty incredible- like he was "levitating"- it's been a fun final week of the season.

Wins for a non contending team in september can be very ho hum but the last two wins gave me some hope for the future. Let the rest of season be rained out.

If our bullpen pitches a no-hitter, will they have to establish a Bozo wing at Cooperstown?
