Maybe they should have played Palka more and not brought up Robert and Madrigal. Maybe Giolito and Cease could have missed their last starts. What they could have done is start Fulmer in a couple of games.

If there were a year to drop a few spots to 11 this would be it. Seems like there are at least 12 players that would typically be worth a top 6 pick this year. We should still get a legit borderline A prospect from what I've read.

Yeah, college pitching is especially deep and I expect that's the direction they'll go. Still, 6 would have been better than 11.

Its honestly WAY WAY too early to be mocking up the draft right now. Just wayy to much is going to happen between now and the draft, guys are going to get hurt, guys are going to work hard in the winter and add 4-8 MPH of Velo, Guys will drop velo, lose the feel of a pitch etc. Always fun to walk about, not discouraging discussion, but I have made the mistake before of just latching on to a fall/winter star and then being bummed when he ends up a 3rd/4th rounder somewhere.

Other times I can be proud of being right lol. For every draft day that I post here screaming for a Dylan Cease, I have a Tanner Scheppers from 2009 too. Fun hobby, but won't quit my day job.
