Default One hundred year anniversary of the 1919 WS

Today is the one hundredth year anniversary of the start of the 1919 World Series.

Interesting side note: the relationship between Dickey Kerr and Stan Musial. Such a beautiful story.

I'll join you in celebrating, breh. Gonna watch 8 Men Out, maybe read the book too. And if I can, visit the grave of Shoeless Joe.

Eight Men Out is fiction. Make sure to read "Turning the Black Sox White: The Misunderstood Legacy of Charles A. Comiskey" for balance.
