So, what does this mean for the Sox? I suppose maybe a Sox/Bulls connection, but do they stay with Comcast? Come up with something else?

I thought I read that the Blackhawks will likely continue their partnership with the Bulls and Sox. The Cubs will be on their own.

Yeah, I'm pretty skeptical of the Blackhawks or any college team joining a Cubs Channel. Seems like a branding conflict if you're not a team named the Cubs.

I would think the wirtz/reinsdorf connection is pretty tight. I would be surprised if the hawks would jump to a cubs channel.

Not necessarily. The Nets also have their games on YES. And McDonough's previous connection to the Cubs makes it a viable possibility IMO.

McDonough is an employee, An agreement to do this would come from the very top.

From what I've heard, the Wirtz family and the Reindsorf family are pretty tight, due to sharing the UC. I think that no matter what McCub whispers in Rocky's ear he's not going to piss off Jerry.

I think the Blackhawks will do whatever makes them the most money. That very well may be partnering with the Cubs instead of partnering with NBC/Comcast, the White Sox, and the Bulls.

So I'm watching the Brewers game on gameday and Joey the Clown and now Edwards have been ejected, for i'm assuming balls and strikes. I'm confused. Pitchtrack has had all these pitches nowhere near the zone. What can they possibly be arguing about.

No idea why Bryant didn't go home with that last throw. Yelich beat the throw out at 1st.

Yeah.

MLB Network was commenting that he may have underestimated his distance to third base. Definitely cost them the game. He had an easy throwing lane to home.

Saw the replay on MLB and was going to say the same. He was 5 steps away from 3B and wanted to get two so bad he had a brain cramp. Still 5 games up in the loss column, so rest easy Cubbie fans. Five games is a lot, isn't it?

Five games is a ton. The Brewers needed a lot of breaks to beat them.

Joey the Clown, perfect! I love the, "We are so aggrieved act," by Joey the Clown. When Lester and Hendricks pitch in particular the Cubbies get a very pitcher friendly strike zone so they should keep their yaps shut.

Let's call it what it was, that was a dumb play by Bryant.
