I was just talking to my brother about that, my recollection is that Williams decided not to pull the trigger but my brother seems to recall that the Reds decided not to do it. I remember it being discussed on the message board here and most people were against it, Bailey had a 7 something ERA in 2008 and Dye was coming off of a great year.
