Default *Official 8/24 Sox Beat the Kitties* Postgame

A lot of good contributions from a lot of players who may be part of the future. Really enjoyed listening to this game on my Saturday morning in Japan!

I enjoyed tonite's surprising comeback axe-kicking, as well as Rodon's masterpiece the the other day. We need to keep celebrating the development over the course of this year and honestly, invest in the bullpen for '19 and the playoffs are in reach.

Lopez has a huge upside. Big arm. Happy to see Moncada come through with the big hit in the 8th.

Sox win and it's practically crickets here with only 3 post-game posts. Yet, the thread about the Sox loss on Thursday is still going strong and up to 53 posts with more grumblings about the lousy job Hahn & Co. are doing.

Yeah, #bustwatch got things rolling with a timely bases-loaded hit, like the one on July 3 in Cincinnati. Avi didn't try to do too much, just put the ball in play to right. Palka continues to destroy baseballs, and Tim Anderson continues to have good at bats. Having four young guys contribute here is encouraging.

Sox have been playing at a .500 clip for the last 38 games which is a good sign for 2019, a healthy Rodon has helped. It would be nice to avoid 100 losses this year but after the Tiger Series we have 7 games with the Yankees and Red Sox, it's going to be tough, if we can win just 3 of those 7, I think we avoid the 100 losses. As far as Hahn & Co. they still are on a free ride until 2020 but I still think .500 in 2019 is in reach.

It is pleasing to see Lopez get back on track today. Home runs have been his biggest problem this year, but he's still learning.

We turned it on just in time for the 6 run outburst. And with no home runs yet.

Great to see it, glad they won.

They're gonna blow the #3 draft pick just like they blew the #1 draft pick last season.

I'd be happy if they just don't pick a guy who looks like he's young John Kruk.
