Love the fact that Lopez didn't walk a single Tiger today. Hamilton looked good too.

Palka and Davidson could be an excellent platoon DH combo with sporadic starts in the field to give guys a break. Eloy will be the LF next year and Engelís elite defense at a premier position makes up for his average bat.

Yolmer is a great glove off the bench but probably not the answer as the everyday third baseman. I donít know how I feel about Avi. Still, a couple smart free agent signings that take advantage of the low payroll and give guys time to develop in the minors, could lead to a contender as early as next year
I agree 100%. This rebuilding lineup outplayed Boston and New York; and has taken a bunch of series post second half. The team is gelling as we watch. The window is open in 2019; don't wait for someone to get injured and complicate things. They should have Eloy up now, get acclimated for 2019. Would it screw up the rebuild if the White Sox make the playoffs in 2019?

It didn't seem to screw up the Cubs rebuild when they made the postseason in 2015.

Isn't the point of a rebuild to make the playoffs?

I think teal was implied. The only thing that would really mess with the rebuild is if they traded away prospects in order to acquire someone to help them in 2019 (it's too early for that), or if they acquired someone (FA or trade) that was expensive and blocked an upcoming prospect. I don't see Hahn doing either of those things.
