Wow, all the Indians got for Kluber is Delino Deshields Jr. and Emmanuel Chase.

What? Not future perennial All-Star Steele Walker?

Doesnít Cleveland realize the DeShields, Jr. is 4 years older than Walker? At least Clase is 2 years younger than Walker.

Passan is saying Bumgarner to Arizona on a 5 year deal. No word on the money yet.

Kluber is 33 years old and is coming off an injury year.

I thought the Indians did quite well. Granted...I'm not going to bet against Kluber returning to form. But they extracted pretty good value for him.

Clase is going to be one of the better closers in baseball, perhaps as early as next season. They didn't walk away with nothing.

I mean just because they didn't walk away with nothing, doesn't mean they did quite well.

Not seeing anyone who agrees with that. Myself, it looks like a salary dump for a bottom top 30 team prospect that throws hard and had decent numbers last year. Those guys are a dime a dozen each year. Deshields is a non tender candidate and has little to no value.

Saying that he is going to be one of the better closers in baseball after him having 1 career save is a bold statement that doesn't have much backing it. Not to mention that he won't even be closing for the Indians next year unless they trade Brad Hand, which hasn't been even rumored.

Maybe he will be; but in the end, he's a reliever. The Rangers did not leave themselves vulnerable to the good ole "who could have known?"

Maybe we can get Price for Burdi

And Price is 34, and has had only one full season out of the last three.
