Derek Jeter
Larry Walker

Jeter was 1 vote shy of unanimous. Walker made it by 6 votes in his final year. Konerko got 10 votes and will drop off the ballot. Adam Dunn got a vote

Walker will be the first HOF inductee representing the Colorado Rockies. In fact, he is the first player that has ever played for Colorado to be elected to the HOF.

Another fun fact, the Rockies have more players in the HOF than division titles.

That's not really an exclusive distinction. The same could be said for the Marlins. For that matter, the same could be said for the White Sox and Cubs, even if your include pre-1969 pennants as "division" titles.

Walker is only the second Canadian-born MLB player ever elected to the Hall of Fame. The first was Cubs great Fergie Jenkins.
