While the Diamondbacks new look is an improvement, Iíve never been a fan of any of their looks, same could be said of the Rockies too.

I donít like the Reds alternate. I think they should stick with their traditional uniforms, the glory years and the sleeveless vest for the alternates.

I think the Padres best look was on their 1984 Pennant winning team.

I always liked the classic Padres look, when they have their best teams in the early 1980s, with a young Tony Gwynn and an old Steve Garvey. But I saw the first World Series game ever played in San Diego, and the Padres to me will be the old uniforms in the October haze of Mission Valley.

Padres/Pirates games will be confusing now.

I thought the D-Backs got the uniform right the first time.

Also worth pointing out that all uniforms (for all teams) will now be made by Nike and have the Nike logo on the chest. It can be seen in the Padres and D-Backs photos above (it's NOT in the original photos the Reds released of their new jerset but there are other photos around of the jerseys with the logo on it)

I LOVE that the Padres are bring back the brown but I dislike the execution here, I'm not a big fan of pinstripes on the road. I think they're trying to avoid recreating their classic late '70s and early '80s look, so I would have suggested going back to their original uniforms: http://exhibits.baseballhalloffame.o...f&Entryid=1146

Ugh, I hate the way the Nike ad looks on the chest of the uniform. I know that damn near every league does this and I guess I should be glad it's just not an ad (yet), but still it looks tacky.

.
Hear, hear! Iím in total agreement. I think the font size in the Padres lettering is too big. It just doesnít look right to me.

PS: I love the link to the uniforms database Dressed To the Nineís. I bought the book Uniforms of the 20th Century years ago, itís got the same info and graphics as the website. But I have to admit the website is better than the book because of the searchable data, you can organize in to years, leagues, teams etc..

There was the popular road jersey was a solid yellow with "San Diego" across the chest. There was a year when the Padre in the All-Star Game wore that road uniform at an NL-host-city All-Star Game at the request of the mayor in order to promote the city. I have so many great memories of the Padres in the first half of the 1980s that I'm prejudiced toward the design from that era.

The Brewers are going back to the ball and glove logo. Uniform on the left looks to be a throwback to their first season since 2020 will be their 50th season.

I am not sure I like the pinstripe look but the other jersey's look great.

Does Nike have the hat contract too?

I can almost see Rod Carew, Tony Oliva and Harmon Killebrew stepping up to the plate in those.

I don't like the Brewcrew's new home unis, too bland and similar to Houston's.

Their current look was perfect, this is an unnecessary change. If they want a polished throwback look, then add that as an alternate to the actual throwbacks. But not as a main.

We're gonna look back at this minimalist trend as boring is a few years. Rays, Stros, and now Crew. And a bunch of NBA unis that just have team name or city with no extras.

The cycle will revert to a colorful 90s look, then back to minimalist, back to colorful, etc.

I was a doubter, but maybe, just maybe we can win with pitching, defense and fundamentals.
