Twins sign Homer Bailey and Rich Hill to 1-year deals.
https://www.mlb.com/news/twins-sign-...iley-rich-hill

Hill is not expected to return from elbow surgery until June.

What is the bag policy at Target Field?

If the Twins sign Josh Donaldson does that trigger a Bryant trade to Atlanta?

If Mark Irvings can hurry his silly ass up, that would be wonderful. This ruling is taking a ridiculous amount of time.

Will Harris to the Nats. He would have looked nice on the White Sox.

Maybe target this guy?

Bigger trade went down last night:

Rays get:

Jose Martinez
Randy Arozarena
#38 draft pick

Cardinals get:

Matthew Liberatore
Edgardo Rodriguez
#66 draft pick

I like this move for both teams, honestly.

I like Mccullers a lot, but he is NOT going to come cheap at all. You are talking losing a guy like Madrigal for him.

Not to mention the Astros need him, so why would they trade him?

I like it a lot more for the Cardinals than I do for the Rays.

Rays moved up 30 spots and got a guy who can rake when he's on. Dude is a DH.

.288/.350/.426 career slash against RHP is not exactly “raking.” Plus, Martinez is already 31 years old, the Rays already had a collection of DH types on-hand, and going from 38 to 66 is not that big a deal. Picks outside the top 15 are crap shoots anyway, unless you’re hell-bent on trying to buy a particular kid you like out of his college commitment.

When did draft picks become available for trade in the MLB? I obviously missed the memo.
