It will be the big turnaround that vaulted the Cubs to their second world championship in three years. It will make the Sunday Night Baseball comeback against Seattle in '16 look like a 10-0 victory.

I have the game on gameday as I watch the Astros game. It seemed definitely little league style. Absolutely pathetic. Now, the cubune will fawn all over the comeback while ignoring the gasoline of the starting rotation.

Guys, they came back against the Braves. The braves.

Totally agree, though the media will completely ignore that fact.

You mean they'll ignore who it was they came back against, or they'll ignore that they had to come back to win?

I wonder if they also will report that it looked like there were fewer than 1000 fans at the ballpark by the 6th inning. Unlikely.

The Braves are rebuilding so the loss is not unexpected.

The real story is that for now, the Cubs rotation is bad; real bad.

That said, schadenfreude is for losers. It's time to start playing much better on the southside and ignore that team up north.

That is not humanly possible. Only the White Sox have numbers like that. Everyone loves the Cubbies so much that they stay for the whole game.

Maddon himself categorically said in his postgame that because of the conditions the game should never have been played in the first place.

The Braves offense didn't seem to mind as they torched Quintana.

I thought it was significant because it was a shot at Cubs management AND it came from the team that won the game. How often do you see a manger go out on a limb like that?

I did hear that this is Atlanta's one and only trip to Chicago this year, so I do understand some extra pressure to get the game in if at all possible, so it will be interesting to see if they bend over backwards again for Sunday's game.

And why is Atlanta's one and only trip to Chicago in April? Didn't anyone in schedule-making think that the weather might be an issue here?

The schedule makers for MLB have been ****ed up for years...yet they continue to do nothing about it.
