How many trophies do they have to show for it?

As the 72-10 Bulls said about their record: "Doesn't mean a thing with no ring..."

This isn't Little League, only winners get trophies.

This is Chicago baseball, they are used to participation awards.

Yeah, but losing the NLCS this year wasn't their fault. The Dodgers are just too good! They're just going to steamroll their way through the entire playoffs. No team this year is going to even challenge them.....oh, wait a minute.

Two different issues. Nobody said we couldn't do both.

Indeed. On both sides of town.

Wish my beloved German Shepherd were still alive so that I could use that to clean up after her.

Is there a follow-up feature on Kaplan as well?

And as I've also had to remind some mouthy Cub fans who say the Sox revel in the past, since 2005, we are tied at 1. No almost WS, no should have won WS, none of that crap.

Sox 1, Cubs 1. No more, no less.

More Cubbie coaching stuff in the Tribune today.

Really pathetic.

I know we want to lash out every time the media mentions the Cubs because we have been inundated with this stuff for years, but there is seriously nothing wrong with this fluff piece.

If we pick our battles better, we don't seem like such whiners.

I looked at it. It's pretty juicy. Did Gonzalez do this sort of drooly stuff for the Sox? I guess he did, but it didn't seem that way.

Want to hear some real good comedy routines, no drink minimum, no cover, no tickets, no parking? Listen to Mulley and Hanley in the morning on The Score when they take calls from Cub fans. I had tears running down my cheeks this morning listening to the trades and FA signings the Cubs will make.

The fact of the matter is the Cubs were no more successful in 2017 than the Sox.

Sox, 2017
Pennants: 0
Series: 0

Cubs, 2017
Pennants: 0
Series: 0

Where have you been? The cubbies are a dynasty. That’s what I’ve read here in this discussion
