Yep. When an opposing pitcher is struggling and we have men on base, many people are rooting for a homer but I'm thinking bases-clearing double (unless it's very late in the game etc.) Leaves a man on for the pitcher to obsess over, keeps the line moving. "Nobody's gonna get THAT one" is one of my favorite calls.

This team has looked like dog#*%@ since the All-Star break. They couldn't score runs, looked sloppy on defense and the pitching was putrid.
But last night they came out ready to play and jumped all over a flat Rays' team in the mausoleum in St. Petersburg. Maybe Lopez can turn it around in the second half. Garcia and Engel both played like their hair had been set on fire. Let's keep it up tonight and make it two in a row.

Hoping today is the day we get McCann back on track. He's lost his first half mojo.

Itís time to start giving him actual days of rest instead of making him DH. Besides, heís not even good at it. His .432 OPS as a DH drags down his overall numbers.

I assume they will play Castillo a lot in the next week or so hoping he gets hot and they can move him.

He had 2-hits last night. Keep it going.

Two good starts in a row for Lopez. Hopefully it's an indication that he's starting to turn things around. If he can somehow become a reliable starter, that would be HUGE for this rebuild. I'm not looking for top of the rotation either, just someone who fits in the rotation nicely along with Giolito, Cease, and Kopech.
